Teacher Sunny
Teacher Sunny is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. She is currently enrolled in a Masters Program for Literacy at WCU. She is working towards getting certified as a Reading Specialist.
Teacher Sunny has been at George Fox Friends School for four years.
She has ten years of experience working with children at various ages from infants through seventh graders. She is trained in the use of Montessori materials and incorporates much of that philosophy into her teaching and classroom design at GFFS. She has a balanced program that emphasizes rich literature, phonics, math, science, social studies and Quaker values such as, simplicity, friendship, caring for others, acceptance of diversity, and peace.
Teacher Sunny has lived in Lincoln University for seven years. She resides there with her husband and three children: Nick, 17, Ryan, 5, and Madisyn, 4. She enjoys playing with her children, cooking, and volunteering for various social service projects.
