Philosophy
Rooted in the Quaker conviction that there is that of God in each individual, our philosophy teaches simplicity, integrity, honesty, hard work, and peaceful conflict resolution. We provide our children a safe environment, that encourages cooperation, a respect for differences, and develops an ability to find rewards in service to others. We work to foster academic excellence by enabling our children to achieve high standards of knowledge and performance. Finally, we instill in our children the concepts of peace, tolerance, brotherhood and justice, not only now as students but later as responsible citizens.
George Fox Friends School and Early Learning Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, creed, or disability in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and scholarship programs, staff hiring and other school administered programs. Children are accepted based on our ability to address the needs of the individual child. Our coordinator of compliance is the Head of School.
